Our driver, Gihan, is a very good driver who always prioritizes safety. Throughout the entire trip, he drove carefully and professionally, and we experienced no incidents or accidents at all. He has a great attitude, is polite, friendly, and always willing to help, making our journey comfortable and enjoyable. The only areas for improvement would be his English communication skills and his confidence in reading and navigating maps on his phone. With some improvement in these areas, he will provide an even better experience for future travelers. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Friendly Lanka Tour. We reached out to Roshan through a local recommendation, and he immediately responded and proceeded to book Bunty (also locally recommended) for our trip. I had planned and booked my entire itinerary, and they both advised me to ensure my bookings were refundable in case they could help find me better offers, or better local recommendations. Bunty was absolutely amazing - very kind, very hospitable, very friendly, and very understanding to any and all of our needs at any time. He was always recommending different options because they were either cheaper or less commercial, but never in a pushy way, and in many instances when we chose to stick to our pre-planned option he very kindly accompanied us to make sure we were not being scammed. Always on time, always responsive on his phone, took us literally anywhere and everywhere at any time, and very passionate about ensuring we had a good experience in his country - I cannot speak highly enough of him. We were with Bunty and he was truly amazing and a huge part of why we enjoyed our trip. He was an excellent driver and tour guide and really tried to personalize our trip to our preferences. We gave him an itinerary prior to our trip and he worked with us to check off all our boxes and also gave us recommendations for some activities and restaurants that were not on our list but ended up being highlights. He was also very understanding and would often go around in loops when we wanted to go back to spots we had already visited. I would definitely recommend Bunty and Roshan to help plan and execute your trip to Sri Lanka stress free and Sri Lanka as a whole as a destination as it was beautiful.
